Job Description

The role of Project Support Analyst (PSA) is to enable speed, simplicity and efficiency in the operational aspects of the RWCE PMO. This role supports all aspects of project tollgate management for projects in the UK. This includes administering the Tollgate process and driving development of initiatives which improve the end to end processes of Project Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • To act as a valid interface between Project Managers and Local Service Delivery organisation
  • Reporting: To independently produce all reporting deliverables and pro-actively produce reports in line with reporting calendars required from the Project Governance group in PowerPoint and Word and Excel format’s (weekly/ monthly reporting). This will include Key Performance Indicators and Operational Performance Measurements.
  • Fully support infrastructure including administration, organisation of project meetings/minutes
  • Organise and facilitate closure of projects including Lessons Learnt analyses
  • Maintain existing departmental and Project Office policies and procedures
  • Establish and maintain an information management system
  • Facilitate the quality review process for projects
  • Design and support governance/reporting for Programme and Projects
  • Deliver high quality presentations and reports to track and monitor Project Status
  • Maintain financial controls and systems for recording, monitoring, forecasting and budgeting of all project expenditure
  • To address and champion continuous improvement on processes immediately within the Governance domain and associated to it

  • Competence

  • Experience data collection, analysis and the production of reports for senior management level.
  • Ability to produce group deliverables to the required quality under time pressure.
  • Proficient in the use of databases/spreadsheets.
  • Experience of managing PMO databases on IT programmes and configuring reports from data held.
  • Specific experience with MS Office, Document Management Systems, EPM, Sharepoint, Primavera.
  • User to expert user Excel experience.
  • Can produce consistently accurate data whilst working under time constraints.
  • Can maintain focus on agreed objectives and deliverables
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
