Terms & Conditions

• Monster will commence to provide the Career Services (namely, Xpress Resume+; Right Resume; Career Booster i.e. a combination of Xpress Resume+ & Right Resume; Resume Highlighter and any other Career Services) only upon receipt and realization of the full amount /charges in advance from the user/subscriber for any one or combination of the aforementioned Career Service(s) subscribed.
   
  • For Right Resume, our experts will re-write the Resume based on the candidate’s existing resume and the Skill Assessment Questionnaire provided to Monster by the candidate. Monster will rework and add/ modify content up to a maximum of 2 times to finalize the resume. Once finalized, no more changes will be done by the writers. No refund will be entertained, once a resume/ draft is delivered. Cover Letter will be worked upon and delivered once the resume is finalized.
     
  • SMART CV service validity is 1 year, i.e. SMART CV will be accessible to employers for 12 months. You could edit your doc resume & regenerate the SMART CV max 5 times during this period. Minor changes can however be done directly to your SMART CV multiple times. This will not consume any edit.
     
  • For Xpress Resume+ Services, Monster will endeavor to make available the profile at the top of the search listing page to recruiters/ companies/ placement consultants for a period of 180 days depending on the service availed, basis the resume matching the search criteria used by a recruiter. It, however, does not promise/ guarantee listing/ responses/ contacts/ consideration/ calls/ emails or interview.
     
  • Resume Highlighter Service is valid for a period of 90 days i.e. the Resume will be made available to recruiters/ companies/ placement consultants as highlighted for a period of 90 days from the date of commencement of said service basis the resume matching the search criteria used by a recruiter. It, however, does not promise/ guarantee listing/ responses/ contacts/ consideration/ calls/ emails or interview.
     
  • Amount paid for the Career Services are not refundable once the subscribed services have been provided and/or Resume has been made available on the Monster Database.
     
• Monster neither provides any guarantee about the credentials of the prospective employers /organizations which receive the information of the user/subscriber and uses it to contact the user/subscriber nor it warrants any interview / interview call / offer from the placement consultants regarding placement availability / suitability to the user/subscriber who have subscribed for the Career Services.
   
• Monster hereby notifies to the user/subscriber that there can be possibility of receiving unwanted / spam calls/messages from third Parties. The identity, background and objective of such calling / messages should be verified by the user/subscriber before taking any decision on reliance of such calls/messages. It shall be the sole prerogative and responsibility of the user/subscriber to check the authenticity of all or any response received pursuant to the aforesaid Career Service(s) and/or any other Career Services subscribed from Monster.
   
• Monster hereby also notifies the Users / Subscribers to be aware of any fraudulent communications which are asking for your personal information or some money to offer you a job. Monster suggests you validate the accuracy/genuineness of such offers. Please report any such suspicious activities at spam@monsterindia.com or at jobseeker@monsterindia.com. Monster reserves its right to not provide Career Service(s) to any user/subscriber or reject any insertion or information/data or request provided by the user/subscriber without assigning any reason. But in such an eventuality, any amount so paid for and not appropriated for the subscribed services, will be refunded to the user/subscriber on pro-rata basis at the sole discretion of Monster.
   
• The Service Certifications and Psychometric Test are provided by third parties and Monster is only a facilitator of the said Services. These Services are provided on an "as is where is" basis and users/subscribers agree that use of the Service is at their own risk, responsibility and consequences. Monster makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy, validity, completeness of the said services and/or test and/or test results or the content of tests and/or Services and assumes no liability or responsibility for any:
  
  
  • errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content of the tests and/or Services
     
  • personal injury or damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from users/subscribers’ participation in the said services and/or tests and/or any action taken in pursuance thereof,
     
  • any unauthorized access to or use of any and all personal information and/or financial information provided therein in any form and/or in any manner,
     
  • any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from Services website.
     
• The maximum liability, if any, of Monster is limited to the extent of the amount paid by the user/subscriber to Monster.
   
• The Courts at Hyderabad, India alone shall have the sole and exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute in this connection.
